This is How I Managed to Make it on my Flight Without my Lost ID and Passport

What happens when you have a plane to get in and your drivers license is misplaced, while your passport is thousands of miles from you? I wish I knew the answer when I had this exact problem before my last flight . Recently I helped my family move states from San Diego, California to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Surprised already? haha me too. Anyway, we drove across the country because we wanted to bring the cars and as many stuff as we could. Hours into our road trip I realized I forgot my ID (drivers license), which I needed to be able to fly back home. Luckily, Marymar was back in our house in San Diego for one more day before she had to leave for a trip too. I quickly called her and told her to mail me my id. She did just that and chose express shipping through UPS, I was supposed to receive my id a couple of days later.  Now you know how the story ends because I am here writing a …

Recipe for healthy homemade apple chips!

Who ever knows me well knows how’s much I love to eat chips, like any type of chips! This year my goal is to try to be healthy both mentally and physically. I have noticed a huge difference in my everyday life when I eat healthy the day before. I wake up with more energy, with a better attitude and honestly sometimes I don’t even bother drinking coffee because I just have so much energy. This year I’m trying to eliminate chips overall or at least step by step so I have been making these apple chips that are tasty and healthy. It’s a great munching snack and it’s saves me money too. I usually buy five apples and put them in baggys where I can easily pack inside my lunch bag. For me it’s more like an afternoon snack while working on my computer. But my husband puts them in his oatmeal or cereal, it’s all so delicious. You will need: Apples Cinnamon or Brown Sugar Fruit Slicer Parchment Paper Sheet Pan Like I …

Favorite restaurants for girls night out: OKC

Last weekend was a girls weekend! I had a blast with my friend Laura aka one of my bridesmaid. While my fiancé had his bachelor weekend in New Orleans with all his buddies, Laura and I decided to have a girls weekend. My bachelorette weekend is a couple weeks away so we thought it be perfect girlfriend time before we head to San Francisco/Napa Valley. The wedding process has been fun but also you don’t realize all the small details there is to know about planning a wedding until you are actually the one planning it. Luckily I have the best soon to be mother in law and a great wedding planner to help. And since I have been thinking, talking and possibly even dreaming about wedding planning, I took a little break from it this last weekend and just relaxed by the pool with my amiga Laura. I took her to two of my favorites places to just grab a cocktail, food and great atmosphere. If you travel to Oklahoma City, I recommend you …

Get to Know Marymar! 30 Random Questions

It’s Sunday afternoon and I am writing next to a nice warm fireplace on a rainy weather.  I want to write a little bit about me and answer some fun questions so we can get to know each other more. I was born and raised in Sunny San Diego but I currently live in Oklahoma City. I bet you are wondering how I got here haha it’s all because of my fiancé, he was born and raised in Oklahoma City and always knew that he will come back to his hometown after traveling the world. I met my fiancé (Curran Martin Banning Fudge) during college in Southern California at the University of Redlands. I was a senior about to graduate when we met out on a college student night out at the bars in downtown Redlands, a bar called Underground. After exchanging looks with Curran from across the bar I turned around to talk to my friends and next thing I know Curran approaches me with his clever pick up line, “Can you take a …
