Wedding in San Diego + behind the scenes & tips on destination weddings

Hi loves,  I’m finally married (Marymar) well for three months now, sorry for such a late post of the wedding day. Life has been crazy but in such a good way, always believe in the timing of the universe.  June 23rd, I married my best friend Curran Fudge, which officially makes me Mrs. Fudge (best last name ever). Curran and I were originally going to celebrate our wedding in Oklahoma City where we currently live but our guest list was outrageous it added up to almost 800 people so I said no way so we decided to plan for a destination wedding in San Diego. San Diego is where most of my family lives but it also holds such a big part of my heart since I was born and raised in sunny SD. After a long brainstorming session we decided on a more intimate wedding in San Diego. Which has been by far the best weekend of my life, we ended up having a whole weekend of activities with our favorite people, it was …

Recipe for healthy homemade apple chips!

Who ever knows me well knows how’s much I love to eat chips, like any type of chips! This year my goal is to try to be healthy both mentally and physically. I have noticed a huge difference in my everyday life when I eat healthy the day before. I wake up with more energy, with a better attitude and honestly sometimes I don’t even bother drinking coffee because I just have so much energy. This year I’m trying to eliminate chips overall or at least step by step so I have been making these apple chips that are tasty and healthy. It’s a great munching snack and it’s saves me money too. I usually buy five apples and put them in baggys where I can easily pack inside my lunch bag. For me it’s more like an afternoon snack while working on my computer. But my husband puts them in his oatmeal or cereal, it’s all so delicious. You will need: Apples Cinnamon or Brown Sugar Fruit Slicer Parchment Paper Sheet Pan Like I …

Mother’s Day Decor

Hello loves! Mothers day is one of the most important day for us to celebrate because we love our mom and we are so grateful to have an amazing and wonderful mom that loves us unconditionally. Our mom has been a teacher, counselor and best friend. On this special day we want to make sure our momma feels special because she is the most special person in our lives that holds down the forth, with no days off. For mothers day we decided to surprise our momma with a wonderful dinner. We decorated her table with many gifts. First I went to Michaels. I went to the fabric sections and bought a piece of fabric that was big enough to cover the table, to use as a tablecloth. I also bought smaller pieces of fabric which I used to fold into napkins, they have red hearths, I thought it was so cute!. Then, I went to the candles section. We all love candles so I decided to get some golden candle holders as well as …

Favorite restaurants for girls night out: OKC

Last weekend was a girls weekend! I had a blast with my friend Laura aka one of my bridesmaid. While my fiancé had his bachelor weekend in New Orleans with all his buddies, Laura and I decided to have a girls weekend. My bachelorette weekend is a couple weeks away so we thought it be perfect girlfriend time before we head to San Francisco/Napa Valley. The wedding process has been fun but also you don’t realize all the small details there is to know about planning a wedding until you are actually the one planning it. Luckily I have the best soon to be mother in law and a great wedding planner to help. And since I have been thinking, talking and possibly even dreaming about wedding planning, I took a little break from it this last weekend and just relaxed by the pool with my amiga Laura. I took her to two of my favorites places to just grab a cocktail, food and great atmosphere. If you travel to Oklahoma City, I recommend you …
