This is How I Managed to Make it on my Flight Without my Lost ID and Passport

What happens when you have a plane to get in and your drivers license is misplaced, while your passport is thousands of miles from you? I wish I knew the answer when I had this exact problem before my last flight . Recently I helped my family move states from San Diego, California to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Surprised already? haha me too. Anyway, we drove across the country because we wanted to bring the cars and as many stuff as we could. Hours into our road trip I realized I forgot my ID (drivers license), which I needed to be able to fly back home. Luckily, Marymar was back in our house in San Diego for one more day before she had to leave for a trip too. I quickly called her and told her to mail me my id. She did just that and chose express shipping through UPS, I was supposed to receive my id a couple of days later.  Now you know how the story ends because I am here writing a …

Favorite restaurants for girls night out: OKC

Last weekend was a girls weekend! I had a blast with my friend Laura aka one of my bridesmaid. While my fiancé had his bachelor weekend in New Orleans with all his buddies, Laura and I decided to have a girls weekend. My bachelorette weekend is a couple weeks away so we thought it be perfect girlfriend time before we head to San Francisco/Napa Valley. The wedding process has been fun but also you don’t realize all the small details there is to know about planning a wedding until you are actually the one planning it. Luckily I have the best soon to be mother in law and a great wedding planner to help. And since I have been thinking, talking and possibly even dreaming about wedding planning, I took a little break from it this last weekend and just relaxed by the pool with my amiga Laura. I took her to two of my favorites places to just grab a cocktail, food and great atmosphere. If you travel to Oklahoma City, I recommend you …

3 Places You Must See In India

India was such a surprise to me, I honestly did not know what to expect. I thought of Eat, Pray, Love the movie with Julia Roberts. It is accurate but times 100 more people always around. My fiancé traveled to India three months before I did, at first he was not sure why he chose India for his exotic location to backpack after college but after a month of experiencing the culture he just fell in love with India. Its tough getting used to the loud noises but once you get use it to, you really start appreciating and you realize that it is part of the experience. When Curran was in college he lived in Israel for a year, he had the opportunity to play American football in a Israel. Most of his Israelis friends would travel to India for vacation because the culture is so different but also it is so cheap to travel around so that’s how he got the idea to backpack India. After the three months of Curran being in …

Where to Find the Cheapest Flights

Hi love. Let me tell you something about us, we love to travel! We love hopping on a plane every time we can and explore new places. One of my goals for my birthday this year was to start traveling. We also travel a lot because we live in different states now. Since we can’t survive if we do not see each other every few weeks, we have to hop on a plane and go visit each other. So after so many plane rides, we have learned a few tricks on how, and where, to find the cheapest plane tickets, and of course we want you to be able to save some schmoney too! Google Flights When I am planning my next trip, the first place I go to find the lowest prices is GOOGLE FLIGHTS! Just gave away my biggest travel saving tip. A …

City Guide: 5 things to do in Oklahoma City

Hola! I want to share some of our favorite things to do in Oklahoma City! Oklahoma City is where I (Marymar) live, it’s where my fiancé is from and where we decided to move after we traveled India for 10 months. Which I will talk about it another time just because it needs its own section literally! I spend a lot of time in India and I have lots to share so ill keep you posted. But back to OKC, when I first met my fiancé, I thought OKC was a small town with horses walking around sounds so ignorant but I really did not know much about the midwest. I was proven wrong, OKC is such an amazing city. It’s an up and coming city with a lot of new restaurants and places to hang out. Like we constantly say here in OKC, it is recently in a “renaissance period” because there is a lot of new development and there are a lot of people that are coming to this city to live from …
