Time is now more valuable than ever. We are all always on the go and time is never enough. Thats why when you get snowed in, Mother Nature is forcing you to take some time off for yourself. Consider this day off, a gift from nature, and do some self care. By the way the picture above was taken by Marymar during her trip to Crested Butte, Colorado and I thought it was the cutest picture ever and if this picture doesn’t give you the “snowed in” vibe, than I don’t know what does.
Back story to what inspired me to write this. I currently live in San Diego, and have never lived outside of southern California. Recently, I drove to Oklahoma City, and currently am still here, and I got snowed in! The roads got extremely icy and pretty much every business was closed so I had no choice but to stay in all day. I had never been snowed in. I was alone in my Marymar’s house, she was out of town, and I couldn’t even drive to my moms house because of the dangerous roads. So here are all the things you can do on your day off if you get snowed in as well.
1. Work on Your Dreams.
There is not a more perfect time to work on your dreams, than right now. We all have something we would like to get started or put more time into wether it is your blog, starting a business, or simply putting more time into your hobby such as painting. Today is the time to do that. Any time you put into it adds up over time. Wether you put in 15 minutes or 5 hours, all and any of it is an awesome investment.
2. Take care of your skin.

3. Read a book.
I love reading. but my excuse usually is that I am always too busy to pick up up the book I’ve been currently reading for 2 months and barely past the first chapter haha. I loved being at home all day, technically it wasn’t my home it was Marymar’s, but her house is so cute I wanted to claim it for myself! I did all the things I mentioned above and the next day when the roads had defrosted I was so calm and freshly relaxed, ready to tackle on the day. How do you like to pamper yourself?
