Last weekend was a girls weekend! I had a blast with my friend Laura aka one of my bridesmaid. While my fiancé had his bachelor weekend in New Orleans with all his buddies, Laura and I decided to have a girls weekend. My bachelorette weekend is a couple weeks away so we thought it be perfect girlfriend time before we head to San Francisco/Napa Valley. The wedding process has been fun but also you don’t realize all the small details there is to know about planning a wedding until you are actually the one planning it. Luckily I have the best soon to be mother in law and a great wedding planner to help. And since I have been thinking, talking and possibly even dreaming about wedding planning, I took a little break from it this last weekend and just relaxed by the pool with my amiga Laura. I took her to two of my favorites places to just grab a cocktail, food and great atmosphere. If you travel to Oklahoma City, I recommend you to visit these places, located around downtown.

Friday Evening, we got all dolled up. “Hair done, nails done, everything did” type of evening. We first started at Vast which is a restaurant in Oklahoma City highest building located in the 49th floor. This is a place that I recommend going for dinner and reserve a table that faces to the west where you can watch the sunset. My favorite is ordering their fun cocktails and a bar table with the ridiculous amazing view. I ordered a Manhattan and it was delightful!
We then decided to go to the Jones Assembly which is the hottest restaurant in town at the moment. It is decorated modern with an industrial touch. The food is to die for, it is delicious in a creative way. My favorite is the G.O.A.T pizza, it has goat cheese, honey, nuts, and I like to add pepperoni on top. Yummy!! The Jones is one those places where you will want to hang out there for atleast half a day. It is full of games, concerts, TV’s to watch football/basketball games, and cool atmosphere. My go to drink is the Frose!
We spend our girls weekend mostly outside during the day and hanging out by the pool. It was perfect 80 plus degree weather. I live by a lake and we took our dogs out of for a walk and of course they always end up taking a little swim in the Lake.

Overall I am so thankful for such amazing friends and the opportunity to have had a relaxing weekend mostly after so much going on in life. What are your favorite things to do for a girls weekend?
